South Park: THQ Nordic hints at new video game

Publisher THQ Nordic is working on a new South Park video game.

A mini teaser was shown at the end of the THQ Nordic Showcase last Friday.

Not much more than a logo

The live stream ended with the South Park Digital Studios logo, as well as a short audio clip of a character from the series.

We don’t really know any more than that at the moment. However, it should be the project that South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone confirmed last year.

At that time it was said that their own studio was working on a new “3D video game”, although no concrete information was given at the time.

In the meantime, however, a partner has obviously been found in THQ Nordic.

Most recently, the video games South Park: The Stick of Truth (2014) and South Park: The Fractured but Whole were published by Ubisoft. The Strick of Truth was originally going to be published by then-publisher THQ before they ran out of money. Subsequently, Ubisoft took over the project.
