SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake announced, sends you into different worlds

THQ Nordic is releasing a brand new SpongeBob SquarePants game.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is being developed by the Viennese studio Purple Lamp, which was most recently responsible for SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated.

Different worlds await you

In The Cosmic Shake, SpongeBob and Patrick find themselves in seven different make-believe worlds, including Wild West Jellyfish Fields and Halloween Rock Bottom.

You can use known and new platformer skills, such as the fish hook swing and the karate kick. There are also more than 30 different costumes available, such as SchneckBob and SpongeGa.

The characters are voiced by the series’ original voice actors and the soundtrack features a total of 101 tracks from the series, including Sweet Victory.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is in the works for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, with a release date yet to be announced.
