Star Wars: Oscar Isaac open to returning as Poe Dameron

Thor Ragnarok: Hulk

The last three films of the Skywalker saga were, to put it mildly, very hotly debated on social media. Nevertheless, Kathleen Kennedy, the President of Lucasfilm, had only recently spoken about the fact that films would continue to be planned around the “sequel era”. The exact time frame is unclear. Also among the critical voices towards the conclusion of the Skywalker saga is Oscar Isaac. This one played in Episode 7, Episode 8 and Episode 9 the character Poe Dameron and in the past, for example, expressed criticism of wasted potential regarding the character’s friendship with Finn. Nevertheless, the actor, who is currently appearing in the Moon Knight series in particular, would be open to returning to the Star Wars cosmos.

“I’m open to everything”

Speaking to Sirius XM radio station, Isaac was asked if he would consider returning as Poe Dameron:

I dont know” replied Isaac. “I’m open to everything. You never know. I don’t have feelings one way or the other. I’m open to a good story, anything good. On the one hand, time is an issue as you get older, and with kids you wonder how you’re juggling it all and realize there’s not enough time for everything. But if there was a great story and a great director, and [Kathleen Kennedy] call me and say ‘hey, we have this idea’, then I’m very, very open to it.
