Enthusiastic reactions: Is She-Hulk the best Marvel series yet?
It’s been almost a month since the adventurous finale of Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus. Fans were then put on a long Marvel hiatus, but it will soon be over. This week, on August 18, 2022, the new series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will start on the streaming service. The Hulk’s cousin will take down bad guys – either in the courtroom or with her bare hands (probably both). Of the The first trailer for the series triggered a lot of skepticism, because the CGI work in it didn’t convince the fans of the quality of the show. But now the embargo on social media has been lifted and the first voices of criticism seem to be fueling hope for the green lawyer.
She-Hulk gets a lot of praise
It’s no secret that the CGI effects from the first She Hulk trailers caused some controversy. The outrage even went so far that Director Kat Coiro had to take a stand and explained why She-Hulk’s design isn’t of the expected quality.
But apart from that seems the Series well received. Now that the embargo on the show has finally lifted – much later than other Marvel series, considering it’s only two days away – the first critics are letting up mostly only positive hear about Jennifer Walter’s (Tatiana Maslany) adventures.
Pure comedy without much depth
At the premiere of the series, the first four episodes shown and the reactions to it suggest that She-Hulk is indeed a pure comedy acts, as already indicated in the last trailers. It is from relative little depth and very little drama spoken, but there should be one clever writing style give, which ensures a steady stream of funny gags. Lead actress Tatiana Maslany also received praise, as did the creative team of director Kat Coiro and author Jessica Gao.
She-Hulk will therefore present us with light comedic fare without, as is usual with Marvel, pressing too much on the tear gland and telling us a dramatic background story. Fans will have to wait until Thursday to find out if the series is really as entertaining as it claims. see you here the two latest trailers for the series on.
