Gaming Without Borders is at Gamescom: Here is the line-up

The panels for the inclusion project “Gaming without borders” at Gamescom are now set. The Cologne project will show its program on Wednesday, August 24 at 2:45 p.m.

Exciting discussions at “Gaming without borders”

The show will begin with a dialogue between various experts from the NRW youth media culture department. This panel is made possible by congstar, who support the entire project.

Afterwards, journalist Melek Balgün, Karolina Albrich from Gaming without Borders, inclusion ambassador Melanie Eilert, GamePro editor-in-chief Rae Grimm and Dennis Herbst, game tester with a focus on accessibility, will talk about accessibility in games.

At Gamescom itself, the event will take place in Hall 10.2. If you are interested, you can join the “Friend & Family” area at the youth forum stage at the specified time and watch and, above all, listen to the experts discussing live.

According to the Cologne project, there are questions such as: “What is the status quo for barrier-free gaming, especially in Germany? Where do society and industry still have some catching up to do? And what concrete adjustments have to be made so that something really gets moving?”
