Onsen Master: Players manage hot springs in September

Players will start hot spring customer support in Onsen Master from September.

Publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Waking Oni Games today announced that hot spring management arcade game Onsen Master will be released on September 1st, 2022.

The game will be available for Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

Onsen Master features single and two-player arcade-style co-op, in which players must mentor their hot spring customers, preparing and assembling the right ingredients to cure their ailments.

It can be hectic enough just walking around the hot springs, chatting up roving customers and pouring the right brews into the right baths, but pesky yokai try to hinder the excellent service players get.

A dark cloud hangs over the island of Izajima, and its effects weigh heavily on the residents. Malevolent spirits called yokai run amok in the island’s hot springs. And the great onsen master, keeper of hot springs and healer of diseases, has mysteriously disappeared.

Players take on the role of his apprentice Mu to restore balance and find out what happened to the onsen master!
