In 2018 developer released Bugbear with wreckfest a racing game that could easily serve as a spiritual successor to fender bender simulators like flat out or Destruction Derby can be seen. The game was originally released on PC after a four-year Early Access phase, ported to PS4 and Xbox One a year later, finally coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021 and finally to the Nintendo Switch in June 2022. But the developers’ plans don’t stop there.

As announced by HandyGames, the German studio will bring Wreckfest to Android and iOS devices. There is no exact date yet, but there is a first trailer with scenes from the mobile version, which you can watch below this news. The first screenshots also already show the touch surface for smartphones and tablets.

In Wreckfest you throw yourself into daring races that often take place off the regular tracks. It’s often cross-country, but occasionally you’ll step on the gas in crash arenas. A lot of bent metal is the order of the day, as are hearty accidents. Despite all the fun factor, there are still many customizable parts for your vehicles, so you can adapt them to your preferences. For the mobile version it is even promised that the multiplayer mode should be available.
