Avatar no longer on Disney+, but back in cinemas soon: What’s that supposed to mean?
On September 22, 2022, the blockbuster film Avatar: Pandora’s Adventure will be released again in cinemas, to coincide with the upcoming release of Avatar 2 in December. But that has a bad aftertaste: the film is no longer available on Disney +!
While the long-awaited sequel Avatar 2: The Way Of Water finally hits theaters on December 16, 2022, fans can look forward to another cinematic experience: The predecessor, Avatar: Pandora, will be released on December 22, 2022 after 13 years. September 2022 back on the big screen! Accordingly, you can watch both films this year with due bombast. If you want to avoid the cost of going to the cinema for Part 1 and just want to use your Disney+ subscription for your home cinema, you will experience your Na’vi blue wonder: The 20th century film Avatar is no longer on Disney+! Movie fans are pissed now.
No avatar on Disney+ for people to go to the movies? Unlike many 20th-century films, this is not a US-specific issue. There, titles from this studio are still leaving Disney+ because of previously agreed license agreements with other streaming providers (20th Century is now part of Disney). avatar (buy now ) but is missing worldwide in the Disney + offer. I haven’t seen the film since the cinema and I was planning to see it before the new part.” emphasized another.
But some people also have hope: Could this temporary distance indicate a return in 4K or even IMAX format? For example, you can watch Doctor Strange 2 on Disney+ in IMAX aspect ratio, without black bars at the edge of the screen.
