Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: Play the campaign a week before release

Activision lets you play the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign up to a week early.

However, this only applies to those who pre-order the digital version of the shooter.

When can you play the campaign?

According to Activision, digital pre-orders will have access to the campaign from October 20, 2022. Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28th.

This gives you up to a week to complete the incredible multi-mission single player operation before the full game launches on October 28th.

“Featuring missions in Europe, Asia, and North and South America, this campaign will be an incredible experience on multiple levels: high-sea sieges with underwater combat, explosive strikes from 30,000 feet above enemy strongholds, and high-risk, stealth stealth missions both within sight as well as under cover of darkness.”

The whole thing applies to pre-orders on Xbox and PlayStation, as well as on Battle.net and Steam.

You’ll be able to try out Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer again next month when the beta takes place. Activision has also announced a digital event for September 15 with Call of Duty: Next.
