Gamescom 2022 will soon open its doors and show all sorts of new impressions from the gaming world over several days. We also provide the most important information about the trade fair.

Of course, long-established fans who regularly make the pilgrimage to Gamescom already know all about it. For all others who might want to go there for the first time, we would like to give a few basic points to help.

Gamescom 2022: date and location

This year’s Gamescom will take place from August 23 to 28, 2022 in the Cologne exhibition halls. At the same time, you can also attend it online as a hybrid event. The event kicks off at 8pm on the evening of the 23rd with the Opening Night Live event hosted by Game Awards host Geoff Keighley. 30 games have already been announced for this alone.

The reductions apply to schoolchildren, students, trainees, pensioners, seniors over 65 years of age, severely disabled people, voluntary social service workers (FSJ/FJ) upon presentation of the relevant proof.

The family tickets are valid for a maximum of five people, including a maximum of two adults and at least one child between the ages of seven and eleven.

Which exhibitors will be at Gamescom 2022?

This year numerous publishers and developers will be there again. However, fans will have to do without some big names: Sony, for example, has canceled, as has Nintendo and Activision Blizzard.
