An alleged internal document from Activision Blizzard is said to reveal various release dates for expected games and pre-sales. Among other things, there is news about the release of WoW: Dragonflight and CoD: Warzone as well as further details about Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2.

A mysterious document is currently circling the web, revealing various release dates for games from Activision Blizzard. Affected are WoW Classic: WotLK, WoW: Dragonflight, Call of Duty, Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4. This leak first circulated in the World of Warcraft subreddit, where it has since been deleted. The community website Wowhead then reported about it. But what exactly makes the Activision Blizzard leaked document so valuable?

Release dates for Dragonflight, Warzone and pre-order for Diablo 4

The leak is particularly interesting for World of Warcraft fans because it reveals the supposed release date of WoW: Dragonflight, version 10.0, which should therefore appear on November 28th. The pre-patch with the talent system will be available a month earlier on October 25, 2022.

The pre-patch and pre-sale of WoW: WotLK on August 30th is also included in the document, giving it a higher credibility rating as this date was confirmed shortly after the leak surfaced. The worldwide release for WotLK would then take place on September 26th. For the first raid and dungeon season, the release date for Dragonflight could make sense, as there are still a few weeks left before the holidays.

In addition to World of Warcraft, the PVP mode for Overwatch 2 is also scheduled to appear in Early Access on October 4th. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with its old project name “Cortez” is also on the document. The worldwide launch for Call of Duty: Warzone 2, which is given as November 16th, is also interesting. That leaves December 8th, when the presale for Diablo 4 is supposed to start, the same day that the Game Awards take place, which is also recorded in the document. However, whether the leak turns out to be genuine or not remains to be seen as soon as official information becomes known.
