World of WarCraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic Pre-Patch is coming at the end of August

It won’t be long before the Wrath of the Lich King Classic pre-patch comes out.

It is to be released on August 30, 2022, as Blizzard has now announced, and details of the further schedule were also given.

How it goes on

Wrath of the Lich King Classic is set to release on September 26th, so there’s still a few things happening before then.

The pre-patch kicks off on August 30th as follows:

  • Wrath Classic systems go live, including character reworks and balance changes to the achievement system, the Inscription profession, and landscape updates for Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
  • New Class – Death Knight: Players can create and level up their first Death Knight without restrictions during the pre-patch.
  • Each additional death knight created is subject to the normal restrictions that only one death knight can be created per realm and that the realm must have at least one level 55 character.

More World of Warcraft news:

The Zombie Plague event will follow from September 6th to 13th. A mysterious disease is spreading in the capitals and you have to be careful not to be affected by the deadly effects yourself.

From September 13th and until the release of Wrath Classic, the Scourge Invasion will take place again. Powerful rewards await you in various locations across Azeroth as you defend the world from the invading necropolis.

There is also the Sweeping Voyages event throughout the pre-patch. It gives you an experience bonus of 50 percent, which you can also use with death rides.
