Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Asobo Studio released the new video today.
The south of France
A Plague Tale: Requiem takes you to the south of France in the 14th century. From there you travel to a mysterious island in the Mediterranean Sea and search for a cure for Hugo’s illness.
Amicia’s new abilities include the use of alchemy to manipulate fire and a crossbow. She can also use her surroundings to free herself from opponents’ grasps.

Hugo, in turn, can detect movement of nearby enemies while sneaking and manipulate hordes of rats to decimate troops of soldiers.
One of the early chapters of the game is being played by Focus Entertainment at Microsoft’s booth at gamescom next week.
A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released on October 18, 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC and as a cloud version for Nintendo Switch. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and cloud from day one.
