Construction Simulator: New part brings multiplayer to consoles, including cross-gen support

New information was announced today about the multiplayer mode in the new Construction Simulator.

For the first time in the history of the series, you can also build together on the consoles.

Play with four

The multiplayer mode supports up to four players. Everyone has the opportunity to open the current map of the campaign for multiplayer and to invite others.

The players brought in serve as employees of the host’s company. The latter, meanwhile, continues to make money for his business, but everyone else also gets a cut to take with them to their own save.

More news about Construction Simulator:

At work, you can determine whether you will tackle the upcoming tasks together or whether everyone will deal with individual steps.

“So that the tasks are not too easy, especially in multiplayer, players are given the opportunity to select the level of difficulty of the respective construction contract when accepting new missions,” it says.

“This not only influences how many subtasks a mission has in total, but also, for example, how much earth has to be excavated to complete an excavation job or how much material is needed before a work section of the job is considered completed – the higher the level of difficulty, the more there’s more to do.”

There is also cross-gen support. PS4 and PS5 users can play together, as can Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S users.

The construction simulator will be released on September 20, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
