eFootball: Konami extends contract with Arsenal London

Konami has renewed another license for its eFootball series.

This is about the agreement that was reached in July 2017 with Arsenal London. A “long-term partnership” has been agreed for the future, starting with the 2022/2023 season.

One of the core clubs

Konami describes Arsenal London as one of the core clubs in eFootball, so the club’s jerseys and the Emirates Stadium are faithfully reproduced. Of course, the team is also integrated into the game using 3D scans.

“The Konami and eFootball logos will be featured on the seat headrests on both the home and away sides of Emirates Stadium’s team dugouts,” it said. “Also, Arsenal will continue to participate in esports games such as the eFootball Championship Pro.”

“It is very exciting to announce the extension of such a successful partnership,” said Konami’s Naoki Morita.

“Arsenal are a great club and have been an important part of our partnership program over the past few years. Securing a long-term future that includes a variety of promotional, image and esports rights and activations is fantastic for Konami and for the eFootball series that continues to grow and we strive to liberate football.”
