Fallout (Amazon Prime): New set images of Shelter 33 surfaced

Fallout (Amazon Prime) (Filme & Serien) von

After fans of The Witcher or League of Legends have already received a TV series adaptation of their favorite licenses, Fallout will also be included in the list of filmed game series. Now set images have surfaced that provide a first glimpse of Shelter 33 – hardly a trace of CGI.

The Fallout franchise takes players to the wasteland of a world destroyed by nuclear weapons in five main games and a number of spin-offs. The numbered shelters serve mankind for several generations as protection against the detonation and the life-threatening radiation. It is therefore not surprising that such an underground fortress will be an integral part of the TV series, which will appear exclusively on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming platform.

A shelter to touch

All the more gratifying that set pictures of Shelter 33 were published on the BethesdaArabic Twitter account. The recordings show the detailed and true-to-original replicas of the bunker, including atmospheric corridors and nursery. The fact that apart from a few inconspicuous blue screens no CGI seems to be at work should please fans of the cult franchise with 50s flair.

Executive producers and showrunners of the TV series implementation are Geneva Robertson-Dworet, who was already allowed to write the script for Tomb Raider 2018, and Graham Wagner, co-executive producer of the comedy series Silicon Valley. The pilot episode will also be directed by Westworld executive Jonathan Nolan – check out this post for more on the Fallout TV series.

When exactly Fallout will appear on Prime Video has not yet been announced. Until then, the Pip-Boy will probably have to stay in the closet.
