WoW: Dragonflight: In this zone, lightning strikes will knock you down

WoW Dragonflight: Küste des Erwachens (Cinematic)

from Sebastian Glanzer
Anyone who wants to return to the Forbidden Island of Dracthyr in WoW: Dragonflight will literally be greeted with thunderstorms. Constant lightning strikes prevent your character from exploring the area.

the new class in WoW: Dragonflight, caller of the Dracthyr, has its very own starting zone on the Dragon Isles. In the northeast you start on the Forbidden Island. Here you will learn more about the history of the Dracthyr, gradually learn the first skills of the hero class and climb the first levels from level 58.

So you get a similar gaming experience as the other hero classes Death Knight and Demon Hunter before. The Forbidden Island lives up to its name. If you try to explore the island as a non-caller, you will literally be struck by lightning. You can see what that looks like in the clip below.

Lightning Strikes for returnees to the Forbidden Island

As WoW influencer MrGM discovered, as a non-caller class you cannot explore the Forbidden Island or your visit will be made much more difficult. Those approaching the Dracthyr starting area may not use their dragon-riding mount or normal mount. However, the visit becomes a deadly affair, as you are constantly struck by lightning in this area, which will eventually kill your character.
