WoW: Aug 18, 2022 Hotfixes for Rigid and Fateful Raid Quest (1)

from Karsten Scholz
Blizzard developers have released the next major beta build for WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Featuring: Wintergrasp, the Strand of the Ancients battlefield, the Orgrimmar Arena, and many bug fixes.

We are slowly but surely approaching that hot phase of WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic. On August 31, 2022, the pre-patch will hit the Classic live servers. A week later, the zombie plague begins. And by the end of September, hopefully all of the characters will be ready for Northrend, because starting September 27, 2022, we’ll be taking on the Lich King again.

WoW | Wrath of the Lich King Classic is coming – that’s changing!

Important update for the WotLK Classic beta

Before that happens, however, there are still important tests to be carried out on the WotLK Classic beta servers. The freshly released build from last night brought important innovations and bug fixes. Here are the highlights:

  • Wintergrasp can be tested. This is especially exciting because Blizzard wants to multi-instance the battles in WotLK Classic. Initially, each instance will have up to 120 players per faction. For test reasons, the number can be reduced if necessary.
  • Blizzard is bringing back the Strand of the Ancients battleground to WotLK Classic.
  • The Ring of Glory (Orgrimmar Arena) is now available for PvP matches.
  • You can now view low-level quests from the miniamap.
  • Adjustments have been made to quest rewards with Emblems of Heroism.
  • Removed the upgraded versions of the Kirin Tor Rings that were supposed to be available in later stages.
  • Removed epic gems that come into play with later stages.
