With the Sound Blaster X1, audio specialist Creative is presenting a USB digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and headphone amplifier that offers a lot in a compact form.

According to the announcement, Creative’s new Sound Blaster X1 uses its own Acoustic Engine technology and “the multi-award-winning” Super X-Fi headphone holography, which is intended to emulate the soundstage of a multi-speaker system.
