Ticket website crashes – EliasN97 had warned server providers

EliasN97 has started ticket sales for his tournament, the Real Life Eligella Cup 2. But the site could not withstand the rush.

Audi Dome, Munich – Elias “EliasN97” Nerlich is on Twitch with one million followers and is one of the most successful streamers in Germany. In the past, the streamer had repeatedly organized events such as the Eligella Cup. Last year he brought the Real Life Eligella Cup to fans’ screens for the first time. EliasN97 has another Real Life Cup in the pipeline for this year. He recently announced the start of ticket sales for the huge event. However, there were massive problems right at the start of ticket sales.

EliasN97: Fans storm ticket sales for the Eligella Cup

Fans crash the site: The Real Life Eligella Cup will take place live this year with around 6500 spectators on site. From August 16, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., fans could get hold of tickets for the much sought-after seats. The streamer EliasN97 recently pushed the youth word doer. Now he announced the sale of the tickets in his Instagram story and gave the go-ahead. Within a few minutes, the site was no longer accessible. So many fans wanted to get tickets that the sales page crashed.

Has the issue been resolved? After a short time the problem with a waiting room was fixed. You could go back to the sales page, but you were put in a waiting room. At times almost 7000 people have been waiting at the same time until they can finally get their ticket. There are currently a few left to buy tickets for the event (status: 08/17/2022, 12:00 p.m.). Elias “EliasN97” Nerlich apologized for the problems in an Instagram story and on Twitter.

Real Life Eligella Cup: The huge event from EliasN97

The event will take place this year in the Audi Dome in Munich, with the help of sponsors RTL+ and Rabona. The starting signal for the tournament will be given on September 11, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. The 56 participants will compete in two groups and eight teams in 15 different games. The Real Life Eligella Cup 2 ends around 21:00.
