Gran Turismo 7: Porsche shows new car at Gamescom

Developer Polyphony Digital launched Gran Turismo 7 in March to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Gran Turismo. Porsche has now announced that it will give its Porsche Vision Gran Turismo show car a new look at Gamescom.

Porsche is bringing racing simulators to Gamescom

For this purpose, the sports car manufacturer has set up its own booth including a gaming area. Visitors to Cologne can take a seat in Porsche racing simulators and put their driving skills to the test. Belgian artist Vexx will redesign the concept car during Europe’s largest video game fair. If you want, you can also buy the newly designed Porsche Vision Gran Turismo Vexx as a 1:18 scale model car and put it in the showcase. A fashion collection by Vexx will also be available for purchase directly at the exhibition stand. In addition to Porsche, the sporting goods manufacturer Puma is a cooperation partner.

Gamescom will take place in Cologne from August 24th to 28th, 2022. One Day ticket costs 25 euros, if you want to come into the exhibition halls after 4 p.m., you only pay nine euros. For families with at least one child between the ages of seven and eleven, there is a family ticket for 40 euros. The concept vehicle can be driven at the trade fair stand, even if only virtually on the Playstation 5.

Porsche is not the only car manufacturer with a presence at Gamescom, the BMW brand Mini is also represented with its own stand at the games fair. Mini features a concept vehicle with game mode and Playstation-style seat covers that use X and O to mimic the symbols on Dualsense controllers.
