The Lords of the Fallen announced with Cinematic Trailer is a reboot

With The Lords of the Fallen, Lords of the Fallen receives a spiritual successor and reboot, which was announced at gamescom Opening Night Live in the evening.

It will again be a dark fantasy soulslike RPG, but set 1,000 years after the first part. There is also a two-player co-op option.

A big world

Furthermore, the game world should be more than five times as big as in the first part and is divided into the world of the living and the dead. Quests, numerous characters, spells, buffs and full character customization await you here.

The Lords of the Fallen is being developed by Hexworks, a CI games studio. It is based on Unreal Engine 5 and will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Here’s the first trailer:

The original was developed by the German studio Deck13 Interactive, and Executive Producer Saul Gascon (Dead by Daylight, PayDay 2) and Creative Director Cezar Virtosu (Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Assassin’s Creed: Origins) are taking care of the reboot.

A gameplay trailer is expected later this year.
