Lost Ark: August update released, this is all new

The August update for the MMO Lost Ark is here and brings you a number of innovations under the name “Under the Sun of Arkesia”.

Among other things, the new update celebrates summer in Lost Ark, there are new activities and the Maharaka Festival.

What’s in the Lost Ark August Update?

Among other things, the event guards are returning, the developers promise a “funny modification of the guard raids”, in which you kill three guards in an arena with compensation. You must be at least combat level 50 and item level 250 to participate.

“After defeating all three Guardians, tokens will drop into a reward chest that you can claim once per day per character.” “Event Guardian Tokens can be spent at an Event Vendor, which has a variety of valuable rewards available each week.”

A new location in the Stronghold is the Companion Ranch. This is where companions can play and grow into more useful companions. They then help you earn valuable rewards.

Meanwhile, during the Maharaka Festival, you should collect as many leaves from the Maharaka tree as you can. You can exchange them for rewards. Later this month, a new activity will be added, “Blossoming Mokokos”, which takes place every two hours.

There are also new armor and weapon skins, a Shiba Inu pet with a special pack, mounts and fortress decorations.

General updates

• Power Passes previously available in the shop have been re-enabled. Until September 7th there is a 25% discount on power passes. If the account’s top item level is upgraded as a result of a purchased Power Pass, the account will be subject to the following restrictions for 72 hours:
• The gold payment request cannot be received
• Gold cannot be sent as an attachment
• Items cannot be sent as a postal attachment
• Currency cannot be sent during a 1:1 trade
• Items cannot be offered during a 1:1 trade
• Items cannot be purchased or registered on the market
• Items cannot be bought, bid for, or registered on the auction house
• Unable to participate in loot auction
• Crystals cannot be bought
• The purchase limit for the growth support packs has been increased from 1 to 3 per squad.
• Special map packs, growth support packs and other monthly reset packs have been updated.
• Added new rewards for daily logins.
• Gold earned from Una’s Tokens no longer comes in the form of coins.

Important bug fixes

• Fixed bug preventing new accounts from accessing global chat.
• Fixed an issue where the chat mode indicator would not choose the correct color for each chat.
• Fixed an issue where the suggested content panel wasn’t displayed as a pressable button in the express event menu.
• Fixed bug where some objects in Tortoyk’s Heart dungeon were not moving as expected.
• Fixed bug where Pioneer Pack additional skins were bound to character and not roster.
• Fixed an issue where Infernal Legion Raid achievements were not showing up in the Legion Raid section.
• Fixed a bug that caused the wrong icon to be displayed for a warrior hairstyle.
• Fixed a bug that caused the speech bubble above an NPC in South Vern to disappear too quickly.
• Fixed bug where expiry date and time were not displayed correctly on various items.
• A number of localization errors have been fixed.
