Which event is it about? After the GO Fest was celebrated particularly big this year, the developers of Pokémon GO want to round it off with a final party. So you can look forward to a lot of content for the big GO Fest finale.

There is also one or the other rare specimen, which you should not miss.

When does the event take place? The Closing Event will take place on August 27, 2022 between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. local time. In principle, anyone can take part, but there is also content that is only reserved for ticket holders.

1. Pikachu with Shaymin scarf

Why is the Pokemon worth it? While Pikachu isn’t typically a rare find in Pokémon GO, it’s worth taking the Electro Mouse with you during the Closing Event. This is mainly due to his unique costume.

Pikachu has dressed appropriately and will be wearing a Shaymin Scarf for the entire event for the first time. It can also be captured in its iridescent form in this costume, making it a very special specimen.

Because like most of Pikachu’s other costumes, it’s not clear if it will ever be caught again in this form. This makes it particularly valuable for collectors.
