Warzone Season 5 has started and brings some changes to the weapons. And the current meta seems to be in jeopardy in the process.

The developer Infinity Ward is aiming for the weapons this time. Because through various buffs and nerfs, the stats of both old and new weapons in the shooter are turned upside down. Thus, the old meta could soon be replaced by better alternatives.

Warzone Season 5 Update: The Meta is in the saddle – Snipers benefit

It changes: With the update to Season 5 in Warzone, some of the current meta of the game will change. Because of various buffs and nerfs of the weapons, it is no longer so easy to determine the best gun in the game. The developers are not doing this without reason, because the new balancing of the weapons should bring a breath of fresh air back into the game. The currently very popular KG-M40 is particularly affected. However, other weapons seem to benefit from the adjustments, including the Grau and Sniper Rifles.

This is what happens with the KG-M40: The KG-M40 is arguably the most popular assault rifle in the game right now. With the right attachments, she became a real beast in Warzone and was considered a reliable companion. But that will probably change now, because Season 5 of Warzone brought the KG-M40 a full nerf. The weapon’s minimum damage has been reduced from 25 to 23, and some of its popular attachments have also been nerfed. These are shown in the following list:

This is what happens to the gray: An absolute fan favorite could soon serve as an alternative to the KG-M40. Because the gray gets a decent buff in Season 5 of Warzone. Her damage improves in three areas, and not just a little.

• Gray maximum damage increased from 28 to 29
• Maximum damage range increased from 1200 to 1240
• Headshot damage multiplier increased from 1.01 to 1.15

Snipers get buff: The snipers leave the field as clear winners at the start of Season 5 of Warzone. Because all sniper rifles get a buff. Weapons will now recoil significantly less if you are hit by enemy bullets. That means you can keep a steady hand even in the wildest skirmishes.
