The heart of the Galaxy Watch5 series is Samsung’s BioActive Sensor, which keeps an eye on your fitness around the clock. The 3-in-1 sensor measures heart rate, blood oxygen levels and your stress level.* The sensor has a larger surface than in the Samsung Galaxy Watch4, and it also fits more directly on the wrist – so it can now record your body function values even more precisely.

Samsung uses Google’s Wear OS as the operating system for the Galaxy Watch5 series. This gives you access to numerous Android apps, which can be conveniently controlled via the smartwatch’s touch display. The OS is refined with Samsung’s own interface, the One UI Watch4.5. The latest version of the One UI makes typing on the display easier and making calls even easier.
