San Francisco—August is drawing to a close, but a special final event awaits Pokémon Trainers. After the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 was celebrated with various events around the world in June, developer Niantic is bringing the event to a proper end at the end of the month. There are of course lots of special bonuses and shinys to collect that are exclusive for the duration of the event. In our article we clarify the most important questions and you will find out which Pokémon and bonuses can be dusted off during the event.

Pokémon GO Fest Finale 2022 – All important information at a glance

When does the event take place? The event will take place this Saturday, August 27, 2022 between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. So if you want to get everything done, you should hurry up.

Which Pokemon will be completely new with the event? Angeo, Masskito, Schabelle, and Voltrilant will be available to all Trainers. First and foremost, with the event, Ninantic is introducing new ultra beasts into the game that previously could only be caught at certain Pokémon GO live events in Berlin or Seattle. However, you need an Ultra Ball to catch these Pokémon. These balls were made available at the Pokémon GO Fest in June at the start of the event, and you will probably receive new ones as part of the field research. There is also a Pikachu with a Shaymin scarf to grab as well as the shiny forms of Unown N and Incognito X. Somniam is also only available with the event in its shiny form.

Do I need a ticket? No, a ticket is not required to participate. However, those who have already secured a ticket for Pokémon GO Fest in June will have access to exclusive content that other players will not be able to enjoy. If you still don’t have a ticket, don’t worry, because you can always purchase one of the tickets in the game’s in-game shop. It is even possible to gift tickets to friends for €5.

What bonuses are there without a ticket at the event? You can also participate without a ticket and secure the following advantages:

Which Pokemon can be caught? You can find a list of them in our overview. During the Pokémon GO Fest Finale 2022 there will be four different habitats with different wild Pokémon. These habitats are called “Ultra Invasion:
Schabelle”, “Ultra Invasion: Masskito”, “Ultra Invasion: Voltriant” and “Ultra Invasion: Anego”. You can read here which Pokémon spawn in each habitat. Pokémon marked with an asterisk can also appear in their shiny form:

All Raids for the Pokémon GO Fest Finale 2022: Those who prefer to take part in the raids will also get their money’s worth at this event. Apart from the ultra beasts, the raid bosses always remain the same, because these change depending on the habitat.
