The Dark Pictures Anthology has brought horror fans a lot of joy over the past few years. In the meantime, three games have already been released with Man of Medan, Little Hope, and House of Ashes, all of which were able to convince the community. The “first season” of the Dark Pictures series is now set to be completed this year when The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is released on November 18, 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 , and the PC is released.

So the release date is already within reach, and to build the anticipation a little bit, Supermassive Games recently released a brand new trailer for their new game. This time it’s about a documentary crew who are invited into a recreation of serial killer HH Holmes’ “Murder Castle.” Unfortunately, the crew members soon find themselves prisoners and must solve various puzzles and possibly even sacrifice each other in order to survive.
As already mentioned, The Devil in Me is the finale of the first season of the Dark Pictures Anthology. Players can look forward to improvements and innovations, among other things, that came about as a result of the developers’ experience. Among other things, the movement is said to have been expanded a lot, and The Devil in Me will also contain an inventory. Just like its predecessors, the new title can be played either alone or with up to four other players in co-op.
The title already has its own Steam page with all kinds of information about the gameplay and the plot. You can either add The Devil in Me to your wish list or pre-order it for 39.99 euros. All pre-orders will also receive the “Curator’s Cut”. This contains “new scenes that are playable from the perspective of other characters and require brand new decisions”.
