The Last of Us: Firefly Edition could be coming to Europe

The coveted Firefly Edition of The Last of Us: Part 1 remake might yet come to Europe.

This edition costs $99.99 in the USA. It’s the most expensive variant of the remake, and less than 24 hours after it was announced in June, it’s already sold out on PlayStation Direct (where it’s exclusive) in the US.

A glimmer of hope

But there is still hope for fans. On the one hand for US fans, because according to Naughty Dog, a number of other Firefly Edition copies will soon be available in the US.

It also gives hope to European fans on Twitter: “EU fans, we are working with our partners at SIE and hope to be able to provide an update on what we can offer soon,” it said.

In addition to the game, the Firefly Edition also includes a steel book, various in-game items and four issues of The Last of Us: American Dreams comics with new cover designs.

The Last of Us: Part 1 will be released on September 2nd for the PlayStation 5, with a PC version to follow not long after.
