WoW: Mount concept fulfills long-awaited fan request
Renowned digital artist Fishbones06 has released two new mount concepts for WoW. But this time it is not about normal mounts, but instead an idea that plays with a long-standing fan desire. We’ll show you what it’s all about.
Caravans, mobile homes and roof tents have been all the rage again since the beginning of the corona pandemic. They offer people the opportunity to simply drive off, escape the confines of quarantine at home and finally experience a feeling of freedom that they have missed in recent years. What does that have to do with World of Warcraft, you ask? Well, WoW fan and digital artist Fishbones06 has taken the concept of the RV to heart and designed their own portable home for the heroes of Azeroth.
If you hate your neighbors, you just move on
Because Fishbones06 has published two mount concepts on reddit that could pass as WoW mobile homes: the Walking Cottage and the Walking Hut – one mount each for Alliance and Horde. The idea behind it is as follows: A house in the style of the buildings of Stormwind or Orgrimmar stands on a promontory, which in turn is held in the air by four stone legs. These legs, which are a bit reminiscent of elementals, carry the dwelling around, so that you practically have your very own mobile dwelling:
The descriptive text in the associated tooltip says:
“Can’t stand your neighbors? Then just pack up and travel the world in your mobile home to find the perfect place to settle down.”
The idea of Fishbones06, the long-cherished desire of fans for housing in WoW (buy now ) Combining it with a mount is causing excitement among the community on reddit. In particular, the question of how to bring down the mounts in World PvP stimulates the creativity of the fans. Some want a mailbox or auction house for the mount, while others envision the mount blocking the mailbox in WoW’s capital cities. In any case, we think: Fishbones06 has outdone itself with this idea – or what do you think? Tell us in the comments!
