The first manufacturers have already started to announce the first new products for the trade fair – including AVM, which will be present at IFA 2022 with the Fritz Repeater 3000 AX, among other things.
The Fritz Repeater 3000 AX is the direct successor to the standard version of the Fritz Repeater 3000 (test), which celebrated its release three years ago and was also able to do very well in our test with the grade. True to its name, the new repeater can use the new WLAN-ax standard or WiFi 6.
As AVM according to a press release, the FritzRepeater 3000 AX is being developed as a tri-band repeater, which in addition to WiFi 6 also supports the intelligent mesh function of current Fritzbox models. With three radio units consisting of a total of eight antennas, transmission speeds of up to 4,200 Mbit/s should be possible, and two gigabit connections are also installed in the repeater. All options of current FritzOS versions should also be usable.
AVM wants to reveal more information about the Fritz Repeater 3000 AX at the upcoming IFA 2022. It is already known that the repeater will be launched in September 2022. The company specifies a price of 189 euros as an RRP. As usual with AVM, buyers also receive a manufacturer’s guarantee of up to five years for the Fritz Repeater 3000 AX.
