Battlefield 2042: Season 2 is about to be unlocked – a foretaste of the new map
the Unlock Season 2 of Battlefield 2042 is getting closer: The new season called Master of Arms is on August 30 Live in First Person Shooter. DICE has not yet announced a specific time for the start. However, it can be assumed that the update required for Season 2 will be available for download during Tuesday morning – probably due to a server downtime. As soon as we receive further information about the timetable for Season 2, you will find out as usual on our website.
New map in season 2
Meanwhile, the developers are giving another foretaste of one of the highlights of the new Battlefield 2042 season via the short message service Twitter: Die “Stranded” card, which is new to the first-person shooter at the start of the season. In the short clip you can see the new playing field that you can enter from tomorrow. The focus is on a large cargo ship that is in a dry lake in Panama. There will certainly be some close combat here, but outside of the cargo ship there is a more open area waiting for you, which should also be suitable as a playground for snipers.
What else does the new season bring?
With the new map, the makers want to take player feedback into account and both reduce the playable area and offer more cover options. The recently published roadmap also shows that Orbital and Renewal updated get – among other things with regard to the coverage system and the walking routes. With the unlock of Season 2 there should also be a larger selection of weapons, including guns from Battlefield Portal. Also announced are new vehicles, more weekly missions, new experiences, and “more in Portal and more Community Spotlights.” With Season 3, a class system should come into play.
