The Epic Games Store has been giving away games regularly for many months.

The Epic Games Store offers weekly free games to anyone who is interested. This works roughly like the monthly bonus titles for PS Plus and Co., except that you don’t have to take out a subscription and you get games more often. This week there are several titles, one of which is a real action highlight. If you haven’t already, you should grab the free title.

That’s what it’s about: In the third part of the reboot trilogy, Lara Croft accidentally triggers the end of the world. Even by Tomb Raider standards, this turns the drama control properly and gives us a lot of the finest action-adventure fare.

In this grand finale of the trilogy, Lara Croft is no longer an inexperienced researcher, but already a tried and tested jungle fighter. Once again we have to deal with all sorts of livestock, evil people and supernatural phenomena.

Graphically, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is impressive despite its age. The game is one of the first titles that with ray tracing lighting have splurged. Accordingly, many scenes in the hub and in the jungle look really impressive.

That was not all: You can grab another game and some bonus content in the Epic Store starting Thursday afternoon. In addition to the Armazillo DLC for Knockout City, you also get Submerged: Hidden Depths for free. This is a particularly relaxed exploration game that does not require any fighting, but can inspire with chic graphics and a beautiful game world.

Don’t forget the latest free titles

Until then, you can also get the current free games from Epic. The 30 Year Bungie Pack is available until Thursday for Destiny 2 and ring of pain. The former gives you loads of bonuses and additional content, the latter is a small, dark and idiosyncratic indie strategy game with roguelike elements.

How do you like the selection of free games in the Epic Store? Will you grab Shadow of the Tomb Raider?
