Gamescom 2023: The date for the event in the new year has been set

Gamescom 2023 will take place in Cologne again in 2023. The official date has now been announced.

gamescom is the world’s largest event for computer and video games and Europe’s largest business platform for the games industry. In 2022 gamescom took place from Tuesday, August 23rd to Sunday, August 28th in Cologne and online. The official partner country of gamescom 2022 was Australia. gamescom is organized jointly by Koelnmesse and game – the Association of the German Games Industry.

Now those responsible have the appointment for the Gamescom 2023 announced. Gamescom 2023 runs from August 23rd to 27th. It will open on August 22, 2023 with gamescom: Opening Night Live.

In 2022, 265,000 visitors came from over 100 countries. By Saturday evening alone, there were over 130 million views of the entire Gamescom show program. There were 12 million views at Opening Night Live. The fair included around 1,100 exhibitors from 53 countries, with 75 percent of the exhibitors coming from abroad.
