Mafia: Hangar 13 confirms new game, but you still need "a few years" of patience

The development studio Hangar 13 has finally officially confirmed that a new mafia game is in the works.

At the same time, the fans are put off, because it will take a while until it’s finished.

Patience is required

“I am pleased to confirm that we have started work on an entirely new Mafia project!” says Hangar 13’s General Manager Roman Hladík.

“Even though it’s a few years away and we can’t reveal more at the moment, we’re really excited to continue working on this beloved franchise and entertaining our players with new stories.”

More on the subject:

According to earlier, but as yet unconfirmed, reports, the new project is a prequel set to take place in the late 1910s and early 1920s.

Among other things, Hangar 13 developed Mafia 3 and recently published a remake of the very first part with Mafia: Definitive Edition.
