Just in time for the 20th birthday of the classic game mafia, you can add it to your library for free on Steam from September 1st to September 5th. The current regular price would be 9.99 euros. The series received two more parts in the last 20 years, as well as a complete remake of this game from 2002, which was released in 2020. A new part is currently under development.

The original Mafia still has its own charm and shone at the time, among other things, through the excellent German dubbing. Additionally, players were rewarded for completing the game. So after the end of the story there was an extreme free ride mode that let you complete funny and outrageous missions in order to collect special bonus vehicles. This mode did not exist in the remake.
