Update from September 1, 2022: The Pokémon Company and Game Freak have a new one today Video released for Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, showing the look of this week’s Pokémon Affiti.

There are also a few more details about the “Moody Pokémon” that belongs to the “Poisonous Monkey Pokémon” category. It is Poison and Normal type, 0.7m tall, weighs 27.2kg and has the Discharge/Poison Grip ability.

“Affiti is nocturnal. As soon as the sun goes down, it licks its hands and fingers to coat them with venom, and then uses them to paint patterns on the trees in its territory,” it says. “The poisonous saliva paralyzes Bug-type Pokémon, which are attracted to its sweet, pleasant scent.”

Original message:With some cryptic tweets, The Pokémon Company is currently introducing a new Pokémon for Pokémon Crimson and Crimson.

We now also know the name of this new Pokémon, the affiliate reads.

No picture to see yet

There is no clear image of Affiti yet, only a few images showing his silhouette in a forest.

“Remember the patterns we shared yesterday? The photographer from Paldea has confirmed that they are from the Pokémon Affiti!”, it says. “It’s not easy to catch in action, but the photographer promised an exciting reveal!”

Just as little as there is no clear picture, there is no more concrete information about Affiti yet. These are likely to follow today or in the coming days.
