Fortnite: Lady Gaga could be the next star to give a virtual concert

Some evidence points to Lady Gaga becoming the next superstar to host a virtual concert in Fortnite. A special collaborative emote in particular gives fans hope that the famous singer will soon appear in Epic Games’ battle royale.

Clear the stage for Lady Gaga?

This emote called “Jug Band” lets four players form a small band and play Lady Gaga’s song “Pokerface” – at least it sounds very much like it. According to a Lady Gaga fansite, it will appear in the next patch and could be the harbinger of the next musical event. Appropriately, in mid-July Assets found in Fortnite, all related to a concert stage.

Also, over a year ago, a court document surfaced during the dispute with Apple that showed side-by-side images of J. Balvin, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga on one page. The content was on Reddit divided. The other two artists have already played a concert in Fortnite. Now it would be Lady Gaga’s turn. One can only hope that Epic Games was able to close the deal with the singer.

She may have already made a first allusion on Twitter. On October 15, 2019 wrote her “What’s fortnight”. Maybe she just wanted to play a round herself or just ask her fans how they’re spending the evening.

While a lot sounds like Ms. Gaga is about to pay Fortnite a visit, you should put your poker face on and wait and see. After all, the emote could have nothing to do with the visit of the next concert guest and the assets do not reveal which star Fortnite is bringing into play for the next concert.

What is certain, however, is that Lady Gaga, along with Janelle Monáe, Lil Nas X, Todrick Hall, King Princess, Kim Petras and other artists, will be heard at the Rainbow Royale – a celebration honoring the LGBTQIA+ community, which begins on April 8th. September begins.
