Nintendo Direct is reportedly coming this month, with Zelda: Wind Waker and Twilight Princess

Zelda: Wind Waker and Twilight Princess may be coming to Switch soon.

It has long been suspected that a new Nintendo Direct stream will take place soon. Now the evidence seems to be condensing. It could even be very soon and supposedly there is already information about the content of the event. Among other things, this should revolve around the announcement of Zelda: Wind Waker and Zelda: Twilight Princess as a switch remaster.

The next Nintendo Direct is said to be in September

That’s what it’s about: Nintendo has been presenting new games, expansions and much more for years, especially at the live stream events called Nintendo Direct. There hasn’t been a show like this for a while now and accordingly the chances are good that one will come soon. That’s what many rumors say.

Two insiders (GamesBeats Mike Minotti and Giant Bombs Jeff Grubb) have now stated that they are “100%” certain that a Nintendo Direct will take place in September, which starts today. However, there is still some ambiguity as to what kind of direct we can expect. Accordingly, it could be a direct mini, a very general one, a so-called partner direct or one that only revolves around Zelda. (via: VGC)

When exactly? The two journalists do not know an exact date for the next Direct either. But the period brought into play is the week beginning on September 12th. So maybe we don’t have to wait much longer.

Be careful: Although the two insiders are usually well-informed and now appear very safe, you should take their statements with a pinch of salt. They could just as easily be wrong, although we think a September direct is also very likely:

Here’s what we could expect from the Direct: Zelda in particular

Two Switch remasters: According to Jeff Grubb, there will be a lot of Zelda in the upcoming Nintendo Direct. Mike Minotti says he’s “very, very confident” that Zelda: Wind Waker and Twilight Princess Switch ports will be announced this time around. The Direct could become a kind of Zelda blowout.

Zelda BotW 2 titles? After all, one possibility is brought into play that Nintendo might finally reveal the title of the sequel to Zelda Breath of the Wild on the upcoming Direct. Of course, that would go well with a Nintendo Direct that’s all about Zelda.
