Onsen Master: Hot springs can now be supervised

Xbox players can now take care of their own hot springs and clients in Onsen Master.

From Whitethorn Games – publisher of cozy indie hits like APICO, Wytchwood and Lake – and developer Waking Oni Games, the hot spring customer management arcade game Onsen Master is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC available via Steam.

Onsen Master features single and two-player arcade-style co-op, in which players must mentor their hot spring customers, preparing and assembling the right ingredients to cure their ailments. It can be hectic enough just walking around the hot springs, chatting up roving customers and putting the right remedies in the right baths, but pesky yokai still try to spoil the excellent service for the players.

A dark cloud hangs over the island of Izajima, and its effects weigh heavily on the residents. Malevolent spirits called yokai run amok in the island’s hot springs. And the great onsen master, keeper of hot springs and healer of diseases, has mysteriously disappeared. Players take on the role of his apprentice Mu to restore balance and find out what happened to the onsen master!
