Sonic Frontiers: No demo planned, says Sega
There will be no demo of the game before the release of Sega’s Sonic Frontiers.
If you want to try out the upcoming open zone adventure of the blue hedgehog, you have to rely on trade fairs.
Limited playability
At least that’s what Sonic team boss Takashi Iizuka said to ActuGaming at gamescom.
When asked if there will be a Sonic Frontiers demo on different platforms, he replied: “No, but it will be playable at many events between gamescom and launch, such as the Tokyo Game Show.”
More Sonic Frontiers news:
Sonic Frontiers can also be played at EGX London, which takes place from September 22nd to 25th, 2022.
This week Sega had already released a new overview trailer for the game, which clearly summarizes the features and aspects of the game.
Sonic Frontiers will be released on November 8, 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
There will not be a free, public #SonicFrontiers demo released on different platforms, SEGA’s Takashi Iizuka told French publication @ActuG.
According to a translation, Iizuka said that a Frontiers demo will be playable in conventions like @EGX other @tokyo_game_show. #SonicNews pic.twitter.com/ATsJXUaXQw
