Pokemon Go: Girafarig – counter guide with the 15 best Pokemon

Pokémon Go: Spotlight Hour in September 2022 with Shiny Blessings! (1)

Attention shiny hunters! The raids are really paying off this time when it comes to finding dazzling Pokémon, because, among other things, you can currently grab a Shiny Girafarig if you’re lucky. If you haven’t caught the giraffe-like Pokémon yet, you’ll be happy anyway – but maybe you’ll also get a pretty, dazzling find? Up, up, coach! Make your way to Pokémon Go Arenas and raid as hard as you can – or give up your Raid Passes!

Girafarig as a raid boss

Girafarig has two types: Normal and Psycho. So it’s best to pull Pokemon into battle with Bug and Dark-type moves. If you fight in rain or fog, you benefit from the weather and your attackers’ attacks are boosted. If your attacking Pokémon need a damage boost against Girafarig, you should check the weather in the top right of the screen in the Pokémon Go app!

Girafarig is one of the weaker tier 3 raid bosses and only has 14,379 CP. A trainer alone can quickly re-box the pocket monster. However, if you’re just getting started with Pokémon Go, then Tier 3 Raids are still a real challenge. If you want to call Girafarig your own but aren’t strong enough yet, team up with a few other trainers. Below is a list of the best counters against Girafarig.
