Then the season starts: The Season of GO is currently running in Pokémon GO. The season was marked by numerous live events to which trainers could travel. The Pokémon GO Fest took place worldwide and in three cities and attracted numerous fans to the events. However, the Season of GO ends on August 31st.
The new Season of Light starts on September 1, 2022 in Pokémon GO. A name could not be more appropriate, after all, the nights are getting longer again and soon all kinds of fairy lights and the like will be hung up again. The Season of Light will last until December and will certainly have numerous new events and Pokémon ready for trainers.
This is what you know about the new season: Trainers have not yet received a lot of information about the Season of Light from developer Niantic, based in San Francisco. A Twitter post announced the new season in Pokémon GO with just a picture of a mountain dome under a starry sky. So far (as of 8/29/22, 9:40 a.m.) there is no entry for the new season on the official blog. But fans already have some theories about what’s planned for Pokémon GO for the next three months.
Pokémon GO: Season of Light Coming Soon – Fans Expect New Legendary Pokémon
Legendaries from Sun and Moon? The Pokémon GO account also shared a short trailer for the Season of Light on Twitter. In it you fly through the galaxy and first see a constellation of Cosmovum. The Pokémon plays an important role in Pokémon Sun and Moon, as the two legendary monsters in the game evolve from it.
After the constellation, the camera pans past the Sun, the sign of Solgaleo. Shortly thereafter follows the moon, which is the sign for Lunala. Trainers are therefore certain that the legendary Pokémon from the sun and moon will finally be making their way into the game with the Pokémon GO Season of Light.
Community Days known: We are still missing a lot of information about the new Season of Light, but we already know one thing. The Community Days for the Season of Light in Pokémon GO have already been announced. Fans can look forward to three “normal” and one Community Day Classic.
