MontanaBlack’s visit to Gamescom hasn’t gone as well for everyone as it has for the streamer. Chefstrobel sees no fault in Monte.

Cologne – Gamescom 2022 is over and leaves many gaming and streaming fans with incredible memories. Twitch streamer MontanaBlack paid a visit to the fair in Cologne, dragging a horde of fans with them. The community meeting at Gamescom reaps mixed feelings and Chefstrobel also comments on the visit to Monte. MontanaBlack is not to blame for him and the fans just want to hate a creator again – according to the streamer.

MontanaBlack at Gamescom 2022 – Chefstrobel reacts to great chaos

What happened? MontanaBlack was at Gamescom and pulled a gigantic crowd of fans behind them. Even the biggest streamer in the world is excited about Monte’s Gamescom visit and reacted on Twitch. But not all visitors to the Cologne trade fair are happy about how things went at Gamescom. MontanaBlack’s fans at Gamescom have been dubbed a “swarm of 12-year-old orcs,” prompting Chefstrobel to comment on what happened at Gamescom.

Chefstrobel says: In a direct response to the lengthy thread reporting homophonic insults and shoving, streamer and YouTuber Chefstrobel says MontanaBlack is not to blame. The security forces protecting MontanaBlack were provided externally and for this reason would not take care of the people standing around. According to Chefstrobel, offensive comments should not automatically come from MontanaBlack’s community.

The streamer says the allegations are going in the wrong direction. Gamescom is said to have known that MontanaBlack was coming and will have been forced to think of the streamer’s gigantic community. The fact that no precautions were taken should be the responsibility of the organizer. For Chefstrobel, the hate about MontanaBlack is “super unnecessary” and “random“. The streamer snaps at the author of the thread, “a lot of nonsense“ to have written.

Chefstrobel comments on the Gamescom chaos – fans oppose it

Fans disagree with him: While Chefstrobel seems pretty sure of his opinion, some Twitter users disagree. The situation is compared to a concert where MontanaBlack definitely had an impact on what goes on in the crowd of fans. Members of his community should have taken action against injustices directed at trade fair visitors standing around. It doesn’t matter whether security, a doctor or your own help is offered.

MontanaBlack could have stopped streaming his event and called on his fans to quietly leave the premises – but he clearly enjoyed the spotlight at the show and in Twitter trends. Chefstrobel’s fans point out that other streamers such as Gronkh have been able to meet their fans at Gamescom for years without causing comparable damage. For most commenters in the thread it is clear that MontanaBlack is at least partially to blame for the events on Saturday at Gamescom 2022.
