What is the Andor series about?

Set five years before Rogue One, the prequel series follows Cassian Andor as a spy for the Rebel Alliance, sent on one daring mission or another to bring hope back to the galaxy that is in the grip of the relentless Empire.

The focus is Andor’s own career at a time when a burgeoning rebellion against the Empire begins and people and planets have become involved. An era full of danger, deceit and intrigue is shown in which Cassian embarks on the path that will make him a rebel hero

Belong to the cast alongside Diego Luna, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, a former Republic Senator who now supports the Rebel Alliance. The director and showrunner of the series is Tony Gilroy, who has already successfully staged the film.

Star Wars: Andor premieres September 21 on Disney+ with three episodes from the first season. One 2nd season is already in the works and should include the series Newcomer Stellan Skarsgård complete and at the same time prepare a transition to the cinema film.
