Update from September 9, 2022: The WoW Esports team has now announced what challenges the WoW top guilds Liquid and Echo will face in this weekend’s charity raids (September 10th and 11th live on YouTube and Twitter) will ask.

Each boss in Castle Nathria and Mausoleum of the First in Fateful mode will have teams dealing with an additional Fateful affix. The fastest team wins. Below you can see the required checkpoints of the respective raids and the prize money per checkpoint that goes to the non-profit organizations.

The esports division of WoW (buy now ) is particularly adventurous towards the end of Shadowlands. After Variety show with speed runs, level challenges and treasure hunts there are two more esports events coming up in September: Xy’mox’ Benefit Chest and the Mixed Singles Showdown. Just like the Variety Show, however, it’s more about entertainment than esports competition.

At the Xy’mox’ benefit chest raid event, the two top guilds Liquid and Echo will compete on two days (September 10th and 11th, 2022) against each other in PvE and play for $100,000. Both compete in the Shadowlands Fateful Raids. However, there are some extra rules. The winner donates the $100,000 to a charitable organization of their choice. The PvP event at the end of September will see the best NA players compete in the arena. The prize pool here is also $100,000! As always, you can follow the whole thing live YouTube and Twitter.

Xy’mox’ has experimented with fateful powers and provides two of the best Wow-Trial guilds looking to raise money for AbleGamers and Direct Relief. On September 10th and 11th, Echo and Team Liquid will be performing live at Castle Nathria and the Mausoleum of the First YouTube and Twitter a visit.

Both guilds must defeat selected bosses as quickly as possible to earn a share of the $100,000 prize pool for their respective charities. But Xy’mox has come up with a few special tricks for you:

  • Instead of the usual rotation of powers of fate, all bosses will have at least two powers of fate active. Twice as strong, twice as exciting!
  • There will be two checkpoints in each raid that provide a fund for the charity. The higher sum goes to the guild that reaches the checkpoint first.
  • To make it even more exciting, the guild that reaches a checkpoint first will receive a fateful curse that will make one of the next fights even more chaotic.

Before the Mixed Singles in Dragon flight gets a ranked mode, we’re introducing the first-ever competitive event of this brawl: the Mixed Singles Showdown! This three-day invitational tournament will see your favorite arena players from Europe and North America live on September 23-25 YouTube and Twitter Find out who is the top Mixed Singles player and compete for their share of the $100,000 prize pool.

On September 23 (EU) and September 24 (NA), 36 players from each region will play three mixed singles matches. They are divided into lobbies of six players each and the seeding list is randomly drawn after each match.
