Ubisoft announced during Ubisoft Forward that Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, will be available worldwide in 2023 for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation5, PlayStation4 and Luna, and Windows PC via the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ to get access to the game.

Developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, the studio behind the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids expansion, Assassin’s Creed Mirage invites players to immerse themselves in a glorious 9th-century Baghdad, at the height of its Golden Age.

You take on the role of Basim Ibn Is’haq, a street thief with a mysterious past who joins the hidden in Alamut on a quest for answers. Basim’s mentor, Roshan, is portrayed by Emmy-winning actress Shohreh Aghdashloo. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a homage to the series and in particular to the first Assassin’s Creed part.

It offers a narrative action-adventure experience with a gripping coming-of-age story, charismatic protagonists, a majestic open city, and modernized legacy gameplay with an emphasis on parkour, stealth, and assassination. A cinematic reveal trailer featuring original music by Brendan Angelides, who is also the music composer for the game, was also shown as part of the game’s announcement.

We’re offering a modern take on the iconic Assassin’s Creed gameplay, delving deep into the rituals and teachings of the Hidden Ones – something we think will delight both long-time and new fans alike.”
