343 Industries: Another executive is rumored to be leaving the studio

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

Another key 343 Industries executive is rumored to be leaving the studio.

At 343 Industries, some personnel are being restructured. Earlier this week we reported that Bonnie Ross was leaving the Halo dev forge. Your previous position will be restructured and will be redistributed to three people in the studio.

But Ross is apparently not the only departure. As the Lords of Gaming site reports and Windows Central confirms, David Berger is also set to leave the studio responsible for the entire Halo franchise.

As Partner Director of Engineering, Berger is responsible for the Slipspace Engine, which debuted on Halo Infinite. Berger himself has been with 343 Industries for over 14 years and previously worked on Halo 4 and Halo 5.

The departure has not been officially confirmed.
