Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is preparing to receive the necessary improvements as the action RPG is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
In a trailer released during the Tokyo Game Show, Bandai Namco revealed that the new versions would be arriving next year, along with DLC that retells the DBZ movie Bardock: Goku’s father.

Bandai Namco also confirmed that owners of the latest generation versions will get the current generation versions for free. Meanwhile, the official Dragon Ball Games Twitter account released a comparison video between the upcoming PS5 version and the PS4 version, showing the next-gen version running at 60 FPS with enhanced visuals.

Additionally, more DLC is coming to Kakarot as a second season pass has been announced. Pricing has yet to be announced, though based on previous DLC packs, it’s safe to assume Bardock’s content will be priced at $10 and the season pass will set you back $30.
