EliasN97 made a comeback in his first competitive game for Delay Sports after five years out injured. As a debut, he immediately tied a hat trick.
Berlin – EliasN97 usually delights its fans with Twitch streams. In 2021, however, he founded a football club. With Delay Sports, the streamer in Berlin competes with his friends in the lowest league. Now Elias Nerlich was able to play his first competitive game after a five-year forced break. He tied a hat trick for the debut.

What happened? EliasN97 hasn’t played a real football game in five years. The twitch streamer and ex-e-sportsman has now been used again for his own football club Delay Sports for the first time. After this EliasN97 even impressed the RTL boss with the Eligella Cup 2he now made his competitive debut for his own club.
How did EliasN97 fare? Already at his football tournament, EliasN97 proved that he knows how to handle a ball at his feet. During the Delay Sports game, he reiterated this. At first, the Twitch streamer just sat on the bench. After 49 minutes of play, however, he was allowed to get a taste of the grass and stadium air. Less than 30 seconds after being substituted on, EliasN97 also netted directly. He completed the brace six more minutes later before completing his hat-trick in added time.
This is how the game went: In the end, Delay Sports clearly won the game against the bottom of the table with a score of 10:1. With his three goals and a few more chances, Eligella put his stamp on the game. Just like EliasN97 is a defining factor in the top 3 of the youth word 2022. After the overwhelming victory, EliasN97 also has a few motivating words for his fans: “I thought I could never play soccer again in my life. […] Sidney was hurt for a long, long time. […] We’re physical wrecks and we can still do it, so why can’t you.“
